Week 1 - Natori - Light in the Darkness

One early morning I had the urge to go for walk around the park. I had a lot of things weighing heavy on my mind and getting outside helps me relax. As I'm leaving my house I notice that the sun is beginning to rise. I stopped and stared as the sky turned from the purple night sky to a pink morning sky as the sun peaked over the horizon. Seeing the way that pink warm light from the sun contrasted the harsh cold light from the street lights in the foreground made me start to feel at ease. It was pleasing to see how just a little bit of warm light could bring beauty to the darkness of that morning. The second photo I found to also convey this feeling as well. The strong single source of light helps illuminate the person in the darkness as they travel to a second warm source of light. In both images, they made me feel a sense of hope and peace and nice reminder that better days are to come.
